Exciting developments are underway at The Power District. This 100+ acre mixed-use development, led by Larry H. On October 27, community leaders celebrated the groundbreaking of the first corporate campus within the mixed-use development —a state-of-the-art 10-story, 300,000 sq. ft. campus for Rocky Mountain Power. Attendees emphasized the catalytic investment The Power District will be with its proximity to both the downtown core and the Salt Lake City International Airport, as well as its connection to two key state amenities: the Jordan River and Utah State Fairpark.

When asked at the groundbreaking about the future of Major League Baseball, Steve Starks replied to KSL.com, “We continue to demonstrate we’re the most ready market, that our ownership group is prepared; we have a site, that’s ready to go.”
Larry H. Miller Real Estate aims to have the site for the potential Major League ballpark shovel-ready by October 2026, coinciding with the collective bargaining discussions with MLB, which could potentially mark the start of the expansion process. The new Rocky Mountain Power headquarters is expected to be completed by September 2027.
